Journey into the parallel universe of pseudosciences

Would you entrust the publication of your paper to an online scientific publisher, whose site mentions an editorial board “comprising renowned authors and academics who carefully examine the paper and offer their suggestions for improvisations, before publishing them in the final form” ?

Because this, literally, is what we read on the site of one of the many predatory scientific publishers, called Hilaris Publishing Srl.

Hilaris, nomen omen: it would be funny, if it weren’t for that the usual Stephanie Seneff has produced its umpteenth piece of garbage, not different from the one discussed here last December, and this garbage, as if it were a very refined preparation, is immediately gobbled up by all the differently thinking people to whom it is served up by individuals like certain suspended dentists who write “The genetic code inoculated with mRna sera could integrate into the human genome. Now it is Scientific Literature!”.

Scientific Literature, with capital letters, of course; because all the rest, published in Nature, Lancet or other magazines, which supports the benefits of RNA vaccines, all that, I said, what do you want it to be – deserves the lowercase at best.

What literature vaccine opponents use, and whether it is scientific, you can all guess.

However, let’s try to enter for a moment in the parallel universe of pseudosciencesignoring the real literature made by scientific publishers who, while failing to prevent errors, frauds and manipulations as is appropriate, however certainly do not confuse “improvisations” for “improvements” when presenting themselves, making the meaning of names such as “hilaris Srl” obvious ”.

Let’s also try to ignore that the authors of the latest batch of anti-vaccine words, rigorously formulated as data-free hypotheses, are not the usual ever-tired conspiracy theorist Seneff, together with her usual co-authors whom we have already found in the infamous 2022 piece, i.e. the well-known antivaccinist author of other authors of articles against vaccination then retracted Peter McCullough, the naturopath Greg Nigh who claims to cure cancer with his nonsense and the only one with any appropriate title, Anthony Kyriakopoulous, who however continues to associate with individuals such as those listed above.

Let’s ignore who the authors are, and try to examine the conclusions of the soup of words without a shadow of data that they are proposing to us for the umpteenth time.

Let’s start with the first statement, the one that concerns the alleged proof of integration in the DNA of vaccines, with a mechanism mediated by elements called LIine-1: the study referred to has not only been criticized for abundant technical reasons in the same journal that published it, but above all the conclusions still repeated by Seneff and associates have been invalidated by the same authors of the original work. For these reasons, no reverse transcription has been demonstrated in hepatoma cells nor can it be placed “undoubtedly” at the basis of any adverse neurological effects of vaccines, as Seneff and associates argue with the usual pleonastic stupidity in the conclusions of their hilarious work published by Hilaris Ltd.

On the basis of the false premises of integration of the vaccine sequence in the genome mentioned above, we then proceed to request genotoxicity tests on vaccines as usual; the small detail that, for example for Moderna, on page 50 of the EMA approval report (https://www.ema.europa.eu/en/documents/assessment-report/spikevax-previously -covid-19-vaccine-moderna-epar-public-assessment-report_en.pdf) specify how these data were provided and that this fact was repeated to the parrots who have been repeating the request for almost two years.

To complete the analysis of the authors’ conclusions, they acknowledge – deo gratias! – that they have written something purely speculative, but the problem is that they don’t realize how, just to summarize the concept again, their speculations start from false data and improper assumptions, and can only lead to unsupported claims.

Finally, perhaps to pose as thoughtful and serious scientists worried about the fate of humanity, the authors ask for further research, a standard closing of any work by Seneff on any topic (since his cannot be considered as such); fortunately, RNA vaccines are the most tested single product released by pharmaceutical companies todayconsidering the number of blinded independent clinical trials, the number of research groups involved and the number of patients examined.

So thanks for the suggestion, there is always a need for new studies and certainly pharmacovigilance must be maintained and the mechanisms capable of producing some rare damage are being studied; however, I ask the concerned public to stop asking to examine garbage produced by those who, throughout their career, have done nothing but bring up new ones, on every topic, making money on people’s fears.

Let’s be serious, and leave Hilaris Srl to its hilarious publications.
