Ita's new life with Lufthansa

The marriage between Ita and Lufthansa is a logical decision, after years of hesitation. It is clear that the Italian carrier alone on the post-Covid market would not have resisted for long and that only an integration into a large European group can give the carrier a future. This decision comes very late from politics which has always opposed integration in the name of being Italian. The integration will not be an easy process, but Lufthansa has experience in carrying these operations forward, having had success with other airlines in the past. The operation can also count on a very strong partner such as Fiumicino airport, which recently obtained the recognition of being one of the best airports in the world. The long range from this airport will have to be developed and Ita can do it also thanks to the strength that Lufthansa has globally. This decision is political and it is correct, unlike all decisions made in the past.
