Italian swimming championships in competition and where to see on TV

In the night between Friday and Saturday the first medals are awarded at the Fukuoka Swimming World Championships: 5 finals are held, one in cross-country skiing, three in diving and one in synchro. The greatest hopes for Italy are placed in the women’s 10 km in open water where Ginevra Taddeucci and Giulia Gabbrielleschi will go in search of an exploit. Taddeucci, on the other hand, won silver last year at the European Championships in Rome while Gabbrielleschi, who already has 4 world medals around his neck (in the 5 km) but never in the Olympic distance, wants to impress even in the double distance where he won European silver in Glasgow. Whoever wins a medal will have a guaranteed pass for the 2024 Olympics. In diving, the main goal of the Azzurri is to enter the top 12 in each specialty and thus get a ticket to Paris.

The World Swimming Championships in Fukuoka (Japan) will be broadcast live on Rai2 and, for a fee, on Sky on the Sky Sport Summer (201), Sky Sport Arena (204) and Sky Sport Action (205) channels. In streaming they will be visible for free on RaiPlay or, by subscription, on SkyGo and NOW.
