Inps and Inail, the appointment of top management arrives: in pole position Gabriele Fava and Stefano Cervone

Just in time with the 20 days foreseen by the decree passed on May 4th, the government in the CDM which will start today at 6 pm will officially nominate the new top management of the two most important social security institutions in the country, INPS and Inail. This will complete the commissioning decided at the beginning of the month, with the presidents Pasquale Tridico and Franco Bettoni forced to say goodbye a few months after the expiry of their mandate: together with them, at the time of their appointment, the entire boards of directors will lapse. As expected, the Brothers of Italy and the League will divide up the institutes, with the Northern League holding Inail and Meloni winning the former stronghold of the 5-star Movement.

For INPS the most popular profile is that of Gabriel Fava, a lawyer specializing in labor policies and former consultant of Assodelivery: a candidate who also seems to be appreciated by the Minister of the Economy, Giancarlo Giorgetti. In contention for Inail there is Stephen Cervonebut in recent days the name of the former coordinator of the League had also circulated, Alfredo Maria Becchetti. In any case, the choice will be formalized with a decree from the Ministry of Labour, chaired by Marina Elvira Calderone: a delicate passage, however, given the reform of the citizen’s income which will call into question the next heads of the social security institutions.
