Inflation in Italy in June +6.4%
Where does inflation hit hardest? What are the most expensive cities in Italy? To answer these questions, the National Consumer Union has drawn up the ranking of the municipalities that have recorded the highest price increases starting from from the June Istat data on the cost of living (+6.4%). At the top of the ranking Genoa where the highest trend inflation in Italy, equal to +8.5%translates into the greatest additional annual expense, equivalent to 1853 euros for an average family. Silver medal for Florence, the fourth highest inflation in the country, + 7.6% on June 2022, and an increase in spending of 1772 euros per family. On the lowest step of the podium Grosseto which, despite having the same inflation as Florence, +7.6%, has an additional expense of 1713 euros per year for a typical family.
