Reached the agreement on the Ania contract: increase of 205 euros and a one-off payment of 2,000 euros. The insurance contract had expired at the end of 2019 and concerns 47,000 employees in the sector. The increase will be fully implemented in two years with the parties undertaking to evaluate, at the end of 2023, effective solutions in the event of significant inflation differences. Half of the amount will be paid as early as next January 1st.

“The renewal of the contract is a satisfactory point of balance between the right recognition of the commitment of the workers of the category and the need of the insurance companies to adapt the rules to the changed ways of organizing work”, commented the national secretary of First Cisl Claudio Pellegriti. The First union also underlines that a large part of the agreement is dedicated to the inclusion of the weakest personnel in the supply chain: contracted agencies, companies that apply different contracts, people with disabilities and other frailties. Furthermore, particular attention is paid to the impact of new technologies on the organization of work through the so-called advance contracting and with training which is considered a permanent individual right.
