In the third pole rags fly, social quarrels. Calenda to Renzi: “You tried to cheat us”. The reply: “It’s not true. No more controversy, let’s work together”

Rags fly into the Third Pole already in the early morning. No agreement after the three-hour meeting yesterday evening, but a new dispute. Charles Calenda goes wild on Twitter against Matthew Renzi: “These vulgarities hide an exaggerated nervousness. You simply tried to give us a rip off and you were sent back to the sender. This time the ‘stay serene’ didn’t work. Fine”, writes the leader of Action on Twitter. He refers to a quotation mark from Renzi reported by Press at the end of the political committee meeting yesterday (“Calenda is crazy, he got the dosage of the pills wrong”). With Renzi that you launch the ultimatum: “In these hours there are inexplicable controversies within the Third Pole because I don’t see a political reason for the break. Calenda demands an account for these words which betray, she explains in a twitter, an “exaggerated nervousness”. The reply comes from the press office of Renzi’s party, which denies the words reported by the newspaper (“The statements made by Senator Renzi are those contained in Enews”9 and relaunches the proposal for an agreement: “Here is the text ready: do you want to sign or do you prefer not? If Calenda has changed her mind, we respect that and acknowledge it.”

The economic question

In summary: the two parties disagree on two points in particular. The first concerns the financing of the single party: Calenda requests that each of the two subjects must pay 70 percent of the resources received with 2 per thousand in addition to an initial dowry of 200 thousand euros to finance the congress. Renzi would like to sell only 50 percent of the 2 per thousand. For the leader of Action, this is proof that Renzi is not convinced on the road to a single party.

The Leopolda

Finally there is the question of the Leopolda. Calenda would have asked that the leader of IV undertake not to keep her anymore. “Anyone who knows that experience knows that it is a beautiful moment of political confrontation between different generations and stories – Renzi replied this morning on Twitter – It is a moment in which many people approach politics.
