However, the president of the Democratic Party does not want to break the unity of the Democratic Party so he is making the best of a bad situation by accepting the times and methods of the secretary and inviting his loyalists to do the same. However, the belief of many is that even for the secretariat, as happened in the case of the group leaders of the House and Senate, in the end the leader will impose her wishes, leaving only the crumbs to the minority: a few folding seats or little more. Therefore some of the dem around Bonaccini are trying to convince the president to raise the terms of the negotiation.

Elly Schlein, on the other hand, doesn’t seem at all worried about how things are progressing. She is convinced that even in the event of a forcing on her part to have loyalists in the main positions of the new governing bodies, she will not be resisted. “And in any case – her secretary explained to her – you will see that no one will leave.
