Aeneas Bastianini not take part in the French GP, scheduled for a Le Mans next weekend. Bastianini out, Petrucci will be at Le Mans
With Michele Pirro engaged in the second round of the Italian Superbike Championship at Mugello on the same weekend as Le Mans, Ducati has decided to field Danilo Petrucci as Bagnaia’s teammate in France. The rider from Terni, already with Ducati in the 2019 and 2020 seasons, obtained his second MotoGP victory at Le Mans. I am very happy to return to racing in MotoGP, even if obviously I am sorry that Enea has to miss another race, Danilo’s first words.
