In the Chamber, the path, according to the internal regulations, is expected to be longer. The Montecitorio rules provide that a two-thirds majority of the members is required for the first ballot. The speech in the Senate is different. Here, by regulation, an absolute majority is sufficient for the election of the president. According to the numbers of the center-right, the second position of the state could be appointed on the first try. During the first two votes the quorum is the absolute majority of the members of the Assembly. From the third ballot onwards (which, however, must necessarily be scheduled for the following day, as the regulation indicates), an absolute majority of those present is sufficient, including the blank ballots among the votes.
