Real estate, purchase or rent: the comparison
Rents in Italy are growing, by +2% in May compared to the previous one, while sales prices are stable in the same period (+0.3%). In comparison with a year ago, rents instead increased by almost 7% at a national level, settling at an average of 12.4 euros per square metre, while those for sales recorded +3% in the same period, now at 2,118 euros per square metre.
