Grillo proposes the “Citizenship Brigades” in defense of income, controversy. Salvini: irresponsible insane

Beppe Grillo takes the field in defense of citizenship income and this time too he does it in his own way. He calls on the Citizenship Brigades, the “Citizenship Brigades”, those 3 million check recipients who, he says, could offer their work “to help the community in which they live, with jobs and good works in their neighborhood or in your own country “by repairing a bench, restoring an abandoned garden or, for example, building games for children. Because, he says, “serving the community is a duty but also and above all a right of everyone” sin that, denounces the founder of the Movement, there is someone who prevents him “by creating bureaucratic obstacles to make it irregular, if not illegal, because it is more convenient to use them as cannon fodder to make war on the poor “.

But on the proposal, and above all on the reference to the “Brigades”, it is not known whether referring to the partisan ones or even, as Maurizio Gasparri fears, evoking the Red Brigades, an uproar breaks out. “In this dramatic moment for Italy, anyone who talks about Brigades is a fool and an irresponsible” gasps the leader of the League Matteo Salvini. “Unacceptable words” also says Gasparri who condemns the “equivocal” expressions that could “fuel social tensions. In a moment of serious international tensions – he adds – speaking in this way means putting oneself out of the constitution, democracy, republican legality”. And the action deputy, Daniela Ruffino, also condemns Grillo’s appeal: “Using the term ‘brigades’ evokes bad memories linked to terrorism in a country like ours”, she warns.

The 5-star senator, Mauro Coltorti, also comes to evoke social tension. “If we continue like this, civil war will break out soon. The hot autumn has arrived. An immediate structural intervention by the government is urgently needed,” says the parliamentarian, referring, however, to the expensive bills. “The Italians have understood that the revolutions of the jesters end in tragicomedy like the pentastellate government parable” ironically, instead, the deputy of FdI, Andrea Delmastro and also the secretary and deputy of the League, Andrea Crippa speaks of “antics”. “We are crazy” adds the deputy of the Lega Luca Toccalini.

Meanwhile, online a group of M5s activists is launching the proposal for a collection of signatures of income earners to lodge a complaint with the European Court of Human Rights, considering themselves “offended and defamed beyond all limits of tolerance!”. The idea is to launch the initiative as income earners but on the Fb page where the proposal started there are many certificates of solidarity from those who say they do not receive the income but are ready to share the protest anyway by signing the complaint .
