Green houses, the EU directive and the obligation of energy efficiency

The EU directive currently under discussion requires buildings to be brought to at least energy class D. To improve the efficiency of a building there are four possible interventions, often to be adopted in synergy (one does not exclude the other). It involves a new thermal coat that encapsulates and thermally insulates the building, a new and more efficient boiler, the replacement of the fixtures and the installation of a photovoltaic system.
However, the EU directive on energy savings in buildings in our country would lead to largely unsustainable costs for individuals and businesses, as well as for the state. Italy has old and energy-intensive real estate assets and as regards the residential sector, most of them are owned by private individuals who in the majority, without a robust tax relief intervention, could not face the costs of the necessary interventions to bring at least the energy class D their properties.
Let’s see why and we also see the costs for each intervention, also referring to the tables for the spending limits relating to the Superbonus, which basically always insists on energy efficiency.
