Giorgetti pushes Franco to the EIB and blocks accountant Mazzotta

He wants Daniele Franco at the EIB (the European CDP) while at the helm of the Italian one he has a name in his head. There has never been a discussion about the state accountant, Biagio Mazzotta. He says: “I confirmed it. I go ahead with my team. I’m proud of it.” These are thoughts of the Minister of Economy, Giancarlo Giorgetti. The idea is simple: create an axis with Germany, a country to which Italy is linked, also from a production point of view, and push Franco, former minister of the Draghi government, into what is to all intents and purposes the largest supranational investment bank.
