Giorgetti pushes Franco to the EIB and blocks accountant Mazzotta

He wants Daniele Franco at the EIB (the European CDP) while at the helm of the Italian one he has a name in his head. There has never been a discussion about the state accountant, Biagio Mazzotta. He says: “I confirmed it. I go ahead with my team. I'm proud of it." These are thoughts of the Minister of Economy, Giancarlo Giorgetti. The idea is simple: create an axis with Germany, a country to which Italy is linked, also from a production point of view, and push Franco, former minister of the Draghi government, into what is to all intents and purposes the largest supranational investment bank. At CDP, when Dario Scannapieco's mandate expires, the favorite to take over is Antonino Turicchi, president and now CEO of Ita.
