From INPS to Customs, so the Meloni government has completed the removal of all grillini managers – Corriere.it

What done boss ha. With the farewell imposed on the president of the INPS Paquale Tridico, “father” of the basic income
now the government Meloni seems to have completed the work of removing all the managers appointed by the grillini at the helm of the most important institutions and public companies of the country. The last pawn removed from the chessboard is precisely that of Tridico, in office since March 2019, orthodox of the Five Stars as the inventor of that “income”, which together with its social function had become the main engine of consensus of the party of Luigi Di Maio first and then of Giuseppe Conte.

Tridico’s removal came with a blitz in the last Council of Ministers, which commissioned the top of the National Social Security Institute. The same provision also concerned Inail, led by Franco Bettoni, who however was appointed to the League share during the “yellow-green” government (Count I).

The “ideological” economist of basic income reacted with profound bitterness:
«It is an unmotivated and incomprehensible decision – said Tridico al Courier —. The institutes are commissioned for inefficiency, for malfeasance, for failure or for a radical change of governance. The INPS closed the last balance sheet with a surplus of two billion, despite the shock wave of Covid”.

The INPS commissioner had already been in the air for days: on May 1, in fact, the government had already reduced the income,
replaced with the inclusion check, and then disassembled the Dignity decree, removing the rigid reasons on fixed-term contracts. And right after that it fell to the “father” of these laws.

Tridico’s head is the last to fall in chronological order: since the Movement is no longer in government, the seats of power have gradually fallen, and not all by decision of the executive led by the Brothers of Italy. The wind had already radically changed during the Draghi government: in December 2021 it was removed Joseph Carbonidirector of Tg1 appointed by the grillina doc and who Conte is now trying to relocate elsewhere, replaced by Monica Maggioni.

In January it was the turn of Marcellus MinennaDirector of the Customs and Monopolies Agency. Minenna, a former Consob manager and professor at Bocconi, had left the Capitol and her role as councilor for the budget in controversy with Virginia Raggi: “There is no transparency,” she thundered. In January 2021, during Count II, the economist was appointed to lead the Customs. Today, political opportunity has taken Minenna elsewhere: regional councilor for the environment in Calabria, where Roberto Occhiuto of Forza Italia governs.

Fabrizio Palermo, at the height of the consensus of the M5S, in 2018 he was appointed managing director of Cassa depositi e prestiti, a position which was then completed in May 2021 during the Draghi executive. Today Palermo is the CEO of Acea, appointed by the mayor Roberto Gualtieri (Pd).

And always during the Draghi era he had jumped Domenico (known as Mimmo) Parisi, president of Anpal, the national agency for active labor policies, economist and inventor of the Grillini «navigators», the figures who in the job centers were supposed to find a job for those who didn’t have one. A plan wrecked, moreover in the clamor for the investigations on the maxi reimbursements obtained by Parisi himself for the rent of the house in Parioli and numerous business class trips between Italy and the USA, where he taught in Mississippi. A character with picturesque features. Interviewed by Courier he came out like this: «Are they removing me? I thought about it: they are good».
