From Credit Suisse to the Mes: Europe will also save the sovereigns

The Minister of Economy, Giancarlo Giorgetti, he said yesterday, showing an enviable certainty, that the Credit Suisse crisis, acquired by the UBS bank for a figure close to three billion Swiss francs, has an “insignificant” impact on the Italian banking system. The Economy Minister said it proudly, and he said it on behalf of a government whose main shareholders, in the past, however, did not fail to demonize the same diabolical vigilante who today, magically, is allowing the banks Italians to observe with a certain optimism the evolution of two important financial crises, such as that of Credit Suisse and that of Silicon Valley Bank.
