It all started, according to the reconstruction of the English newspaper, when Hammers fans who were drinking in a bar were attacked by a group of Italians dressed in black suits and masks. As word of the attack spread across the wider West Ham fan-zone, Hammers fans moved towards the bar. At the scene, a group of riot police approached to prevent the two groups from clashing.

It’s not clear if anyone was injured. A West Ham fan who witnessed the scene said: They targeted a group and attacked them quite viciously, then ran away before anyone could react. They were all dressed in black. Czech police explained in a statement that Italian fans attacked West Ham fans in a bar on Rytirska street, injuring three. A police officer was also attacked. We arrested 16 people.
