Global wealth decreases

Financial wealth in 2022 decreased by 4%, reaching a value of 255 trillion dollars (US). It is the first time that this has happened in the last 15 years and the clear sign that even the richest people in the world are not doing very well. This can be seen from the annual research Global Wealth 2023: Resetting the Course, edited by the Boston Consulting Group (BCG).
The factors that have most challenged the precious possessions of global peppers are the geopolitical uncertainty that led to the increase in inflation, the continuous rise in interest rates by central banks and the poor performance of the stock markets. A “crisis” which, however, will be short-lived: in fact, a new increase is expected as early as 2023 which will bring the total value of global wealth to 267 trillion dollars.
