The polling stations for the regional elections in Lazio and Lombardy close at 3 pm. More than 12 million voters are called to vote to elect new presidents. The turnout data showed a significant drop compared to the previous electoral round of 2018, when, however, votes were only held on Sundays. In Lombardy at 11pm last night 31.78 percent had voted (in 2018 at the same time and with the same number of municipalities 73.11 had voted). In Lazio, the turnout recorded at 11pm was 26.28 percent (against 66.55 percent in 2018).
