For LeonardoMeloni would instead like Stefano Cingolani, the former minister who later became Pichetto Fratin’s consultant on European energy-related dossiers. He would somehow guarantee continuity with the Draghi era and is a figure who enjoys the esteem of the leader of FdI. But the confirmation of Alessandro Profumo cannot be ruled out either. Other names at stake are Lorenzo Mariani (apparently supported by Crosetto) and Cutillo, both currently with top positions in the defense company. Giuseppe Zafarana, general of the Guardia di Finanza, could be the president.

As for Poste, the confirmation of CEO Matteo Del Fante is probable. In the same way Meloni will push for the current Claudio Descalzi to remain in his place. The prime minister, therefore, would not want to deprive herself of this experience, also because the energy crisis, although less worrying than a few months ago, is not over yet. But precisely his eventual transfer to Eni could open the field to Giuseppina Di Foggia, CEO and vice president of Nokia Italia, thus following up on the words spoken by the premier last March 8: “The challenge is when we will have the first state-owned woman”.
