The new Labor decree, approved by the Council of Ministers on May 1st, has brought some innovations. One of these concerns the “expansion contract”, a tool to encourage generational turnover in companies and the requalification of personnel. For group contracts concluded by the end of 2022, there is now an extra year to reorganize exits from work with access to the pension slide. In reality, the Labor decree did not introduce any extension for the “expansion contract” (since the draft, in fact, the extension to 2025 had been skipped), an instrument that had already been financed until 2023 by the 2022 Budget Law. , therefore, lies in the possibility for companies with more than a thousand employees to fully implement the recovery plans. Those who have already entered into the “expansion contract” by 31 December 2022 can now remodulate the terminations of employment relationships until the end of 2023 with access to the pension slide.
