Public health is floundering, but today 28 March the decree arrives in the Council of Ministers with the new measures that should give some breathing space to a sector that has been suffering for years. The Minister of Health, Orazio Schillaci, in agreement with his colleague in the Economy, has put together a package of reforms that could be approved today: more money for those who work in the emergency room and more freedom for the local health authorities for the recruitment of new doctors , greater flexibility for the enrollment of resident doctors and foreign white coats and to stabilize those who, even without a specialization, have gained experience in the field.
