The Inter under attack for a choir sung with a megaphone on the night of Inter’s qualification for the Champions League final. «I wanted to apologize to everyone, a moment of levity»

An unsigned banner appeared under the house of Frederick Dimarco

, the Inter full-back who grew up in the Nerazzurri nursery. He recited as follows: “Dimarco think about playing or we’ll make you swallow your tongue”, in black characters on a white sheet, removed after a few minutes. The police have “taken note” of the incident and will investigate, trying to trace those responsible also by analyzing the cameras near the home of the Inter player.

But what happened? The fact was linked to what happened in the field, after the Inter won 1-0 in the second leg of the Champions League semi-final against Milan (May 16, goal by Lautaro Martinez). During the Nerazzurri party, the player went towards the Curva Nord, he took a megaphone from one of the speakers and he began to sing some chants, one perhaps “forbidden” (which Dimarco, and not only him, cannot know), in addition to the classic “who doesn’t jump the Rossoneri is” and “everyone in Istanbul”.

The images of the winger haranguing the crowd at San Siro went around the world also because they also ended up on social networks and on the web. Hence the regrettable episode: the banner hanging from a gate under Dimarco’s house. Who was upset, apologized to the Milan fans: «Tuesday evening after the match I let myself go to a moment of levity. I wanted to apologize to all the Milan fans who felt offended,” he wrote on his Instagram profile. Hopefully that closed out the episode.

Now for Dimarco it is better to think about the match against Napoli on Sunday 21st May and the final of the Coppa Italia, at the Olimpico in Rome, against Fiorentina on 24th May.
