Another decline in attendance. This is the figure that emerges from the partial turnout at 12 in today’s and tomorrow’s administrative elections in 800 Italian municipalities, 17 of which are provincial capitals. Polling stations are open from 7, but according to partial data from the Viminale (5,399 seats out of 5,426) at noon 14.20% voted against 19.33 per cent in the previous round. Five points less which currently demonstrate a decline in participation, as already happened in the last political and regional elections.

In Basilicata 12.27 percent of those entitled voted, against 16.31 in the previous round. On the other hand, the turnout at 12 was 14.64%. Piedmont, a figure is in line with the national average. Compared to the previous consultation (19.84%) there was a drop of more than five percentage points. The turnout is lower (13.38%) in the nine Municipalities where people vote in the Alessandria area. The province of Turin is at 13.74%.
