Debt and deficit, the limits of Meloni and Giorgetti’s patriotic strategy

What authorizes the economy minister and the executive to think that the financial markets, faced with a further Italian deficit to disburse state aid, would not apply a penalty in terms of a greater spread?

The President of the Council, Giorgia Meloni, reiterated what appears to be an ancient Italian dream, at least since the times of the great debt crisis, improperly renamed the “euro crisis”, which however was not. What are we talking about? A sort of nationalization of our public debt, to prevent the Italy ship, the one sketched by Meloni during the request for trust, from being tossed by the waves of speculation, another everlasting topos of our patriotic mythopoeia.
