The online transfer rises to one euro on average, the highest increase
Behind the general increase in current account costs there is also the increase in customer commissions. Wire transfers, payment card fees, withdrawals from ATMs of banks other than your own: these are all growing items. And the increases are starting to affect online operations as well. The latest Altroconsumo survey for The Economy compared the various current account cost items in the last year (from 6 February 2022 to 31 January 2023, analysis of household accounts with average use of the bank by Banco Bpm, Bnl Bnp Paribas, Bper, CheBanca!, Credem, Crdit Agricole, Intesa Sanpaolo, Mps, Poste, Unicredit). The biggest increase is that of the online bank transfer, which rose by 16.59%: it cost an average of 86 cents, now one euro. Among those who increased it are Bper (from 1.49 euros to 1.75), Crdit Agricole (from 0 to 0.75 euros), Unicredit (from 2.25 euros to 2.47) and Intesa Sanpaolo (from one euro at 1.20).
