The solidarity of the other political forces was immediate. Starting with Prime Minister Giorgia Meloni: «I express solidarity with the president of the M5s, Giuseppe Conte. All forms of violence must be condemned without hesitation. Dissent must be civil and respectful of individuals and political groups.”
Schlein: solidarity with Conte, violence is cowardice
«I am close to Giuseppe Conte – declared the secretary of the Pd Elly Schlein – and I express my solidarity with him and that of the whole community of the Democratic Party for the aggression suffered today in Tuscany. By using violence one does not affirm one’s own reasons but only one’s cowardice”.
