“Congress already in January”. The petition of dem women reaches 700

“We have decided to sound the alarm at the PD”. With these words, spoken by the MEP Alessandra Morettione of the signatories of the appeal, about 700 in a few days, democratic women launch the challenge with the aim of convincing managers and secretary Enrico Lettawhich in truth would already be thinking about acceleration.

The goal is to bring the Congress forward to January 2023, and not to March, as planned by the leaders of the Nazarene. “We will bring the appeal to the national assembly”, scheduled for next Saturday, assure the supporters of the petition launched on the Change.org platform.

“We think the time has come to bring out the pride of being a Pd”, reads the appeal, signed among others by Alessia Morani, Valeria Fedeli, Elisabetta Gualmini, Carla Cantone, Francesca Puglisi, Giuditta Pini, Alessia Rotta, Titti Di Salvo, Enza Bruno Bossio.

“The only solution we see is that it is done quickly. – continues the document – We have said this in recent weeks and today it is necessary to insist: the Democratic Party must anticipate the times of the Congress, otherwise we will have a new secretary at the Greek calends and according to all the internal rules, but in the meantime the Democratic Party is in danger of being canceled. Let’s move, change the rules of the Statute and hold the congress by January to also reach the appointment with the regional authorities with a legitimate and strong ruling class “.
