The agreement on the renewal of the boards of directors of Trenitalia and Rfi would have been reached: the nomination committee of the Fs would have given the green light to Gianpiero Strisciuglio as managing director of Rfi (with Dario Lo Bosco returning to the presidency), while for Trenitalia we are moving towards the confirmation of Luigi Corradi as managing director and Stefano Cuzzilla as new president (from Federmanager). While waiting for the Ferrovie dello Stato summit led by Luigi Ferraris to expire in a year, the process for the new top management of Rfi and Trenitalia will be completed in the next few days with the decision-making handover to the Ministry of Economy and the board of directors of FS.

The leaders of Rfi

Gianpiero Strisciuglio, engineer, from Puglia, since April 2022 managing director and general manager of Mercitalia Logistics, the sector leader of the Logistics Pole of Ferrovie dello Stato. In 2010 he became president of Rete Ferroviaria Italiana (Rfi), a company of which he had been a director since 2002, also remaining president of the Ast. In 2017 he returned to teaching at the engineering department of the Mediterranean University of Reggio Calabria.

The appointments of Trenitalia

For Trenitalia, however, there was the confirmation of Luigi Corradi as ad. Industrial manager at Enav, managing director of IWS – Industria, Welfare, Salute SpA and president of 4. Manager, an association set up by Federmanager and Confindustria for the implementation of activities and tools of common interest towards the recipients of national collective bargaining.
