In 2023 the philosopher Aldo Masullo he would have celebrated his 100th birthday. however, he disappeared in 2020, in the midst of the pandemic. However, the mayor of Naples Gaetano Manfredi has decided to set up a committee of celebrations precisely in order not to lose the immense intellectual and moral legacy of Masullo and its dissemination among citizens, especially among the younger ones.
The committee
In this sense, the mayor has delegated Nino Daniele to the coordination of the work to be put in place: an open committee is also under way which will prepare a plan of activities and initiatives in which to involve cultural institutions, associations and individual scholars. They are part of it at the moment, in addition to Sergio Locoratolo as coordinator of cultural policies: Carlo and Lorenzo Masullo, Joseph Cantillo, Cyrus Papparus, Darius Giugliano, Matthew Palumbo, Anna Donise, Berardo Commitment, Giovanna Borrello, Tweety Brown, Florinda Li Vigni, Sarantis Thanopoulos, Luigi Pasciari.e Pino Ferraro. Bruno Moroncini, a pupil of Masullo who died recently, had enthusiastically accepted to be part of it.
