Castagnetti: “The Schlein effect didn’t exist. The opposition does not need political tourism”

“It’s not a year of political tourism, what awaits us, and you can’t surf on problems”. Pierluigi Castagnetti, historical name not only of the life of the dem but of the DC, today president of the Fossoli Foundation, former secretary of the PPI, deputy, MEP, vice president of the Chamber, he “loves” the Democratic Party, he says, but, given the results of the administrative vote (“there was no Schlein effect”), does not believe we can remain silent on what appear to him today as dangerous critical issues, all the more “given the risk of finding ourselves, within twelve months, that is, in the summer of 2024, with a Europe distorted in its nature of solidarity, and with the prospect of a union between nationalist forces who know, today, that they are only a few centimeters away from the objective” of such an upheaval “as to make the EU unrecognizable” as we have known it up to now.
