The 600 euro tax-free bonus (also known as the bill bonus) available to those employers who want to contribute to supporting the income of their employees in this difficult period. Introduced with the Aid bis decree, published in the Official Gazette on 21 September last, the contribution was designed to counter the effects of high bills on Italian family budgets. For this reason, the decree modified the income non-competition threshold of the fringe benefits assigned to employees, bringing it to 600 euros (from the original 258.23 euros) and extending the reimbursements also to the bills of electricity, gas and water services.
