Berlusconi’s seat in the Senate will be voted on 22 and 23 October: date chosen for the Monza supplementary elections

Voting will take place on 22 and 23 October in Monza to decide who will have to occupy the seat in Palazzo Madama which remained vacant after the death of Silvio Berlusconi. The Council of Ministers, on the proposal of the president Giorgia Meloni and the interior minister Matteo Piantedosi, has formalized the indication of the dates that had been hypothesized for the supplementary elections of the Senate of the Republic in the single-member constituency 6 of the Lombardy Region. The Government will propose this option to the President of the Republic, who will call the electoral rallies with his own decree.
