Does all this break the peace within the party? Those close to Marta Fascina let it be known that “the mass organized did not see the involvement of either Marta or her family”. On the other hand, those linked to Senator Ronzulli replied that “the mass will be limited to parliamentarians only and that it will be a heartfelt but restricted celebration, not an encore funeral”. A context that pushes Paolo Barelli, group leader in the Chamber, to use an ecumenical declaration to try to extinguish the controversy: “It is an initiative taken by the parliamentary groups, born of those with religious feelings”.
