The leader of Forza Italia filed his tax return in the Senate. He remains firmly the richest politician: here are all his properties: shares, villas, boats and cars

Silvio Berlusconi, after his resignation from his long hospitalization at San Raffaele
filed its latest tax return in the Senate. The leader of Forza Italia is firmly confirmed as the richest politician in Italy. The last gross taxable amount is around 18 million euros (among money, villa shares and cars). A record confirmed despite il Cavaliere grossed 32 million less than the previous year, when it reached “50 million”
. Presumably, the lack of earnings due to the crisis caused by the pandemic weighed on it.

Analyzing the last tax return, the one relating to the 2021 tax period and delivered in 2022, it turns out that the former prime minister received exactly 17 million 697 thousand 119 euros. Among the big parties, only he was missing from the appeal: the former prime minister was the only leader who has not yet made his tax return public, which by law it must be deposited in Parliament and made public in the personal file on the institutional website within three months of its proclamation.

In the document, excluding the hundreds of properties kept by the family holding companies, there are also some direct properties of the Knight: 5 apartments and 2 car garages in Milan; three villas (Antigua, Lampedusa and in Lesa, on Lake Maggiore). There are also three boats: the San Maurizio (1977); the Princess Go Away (1965) and the Magnum 70 (1990). Then follows a long list of the shares held among the numerous companies of the Berlusconi family.

Berlusconi has always been at the top of the rankings of the wealthiest in parliamentary halls. In detail, in 2018, when he returned to the list, as leader of Forza Italia, after being absent for a few years due to the forfeiture of the office of senator as a result of the Severino law (in November 2013), received (in relation to the 2017 tax period) 48 million, beating the competition, in the House, the Senate and the presidency of the Council (Conte premier, just to give an example, stopped at 370 thousand euros).

In 2019, the “salary” of Forza Italia’s number one remained substantially unchanged, equal to 48 million (referring to 2018). It decreased in the following tax period, reaching 47 million collected in 2020 by MEP, with a shortfall of just over 500 thousand euros compared to the previous year, as certified by the tax return, signed on 20 January 2021.
