Because the Lega’s coup on the subsidiaries of local authorities is wrong

Despite the good intentions declared in the centre-right’s electoral program regarding the enhancement of the role of local authorities, some members of the League have drafted an amendment to decree law no. 190 of 2022 which risks having serious repercussions on companies controlled by the municipalities. The amendment, which will be examined by the Constitutional Affairs Committee of the Chamber in the next few days, concerns the power of mayors to make appointments in municipally owned companies or companies owned by municipalities.
