Because the Italian Greens have a lot to learn from the German Grünen

They discuss climate, but with pragmatism. They defend the environment, but with realism. They are uncompromising, but with an eye for compromise. They dream of a less polluted world, of course, but they also know that their dreams, to be realistic, have a duty to be compatible with the defense of our well-being, with the defense of our economy and also with the defense of democracy. And then the question arises: what has Italy done wrong to deserve an environmental movement similar to the one that is slowly trying to colonize the progressive politics of our country? The premise from which we started refers to a political reality not so distant, at least geographically, from our country and it is a reality that in the last twelve months has courageously shown what it means to implement policies to defend the environment without giving in to propaganda slogans. The reality in question, as you may have understood, is that of the German Greens.
