For the three-year period 2024/2027 Sky has acquired the exclusive rights to broadcast 185 of the 203 Champions League matches per season on all platforms (the others will be visible on Amazon Prime Video) and all 342 games per season Europa League and of conference league. With the introduction of the new format, it will be a super version of the Champions League: from the 2024/2025 season, 11 out of 12 months will be played, matches will be 47% more in total than in previous editions, with the number of teams participating in the phase final that goes from 32 to 36, all in a single group. Even more matches, more teams, more champions. In total there will therefore be 527 matches for each of the three seasons of the Champions League (185 games, including the playoffs), Europa League (189 games) and Conference League (153 games).
