Arpal reform and end of life, the two laws do not pass: the Emiliano line prevails

Emiliano wanted neither one nor the other: he was satisfied. Since in the Chamber there were 11-12 center-right councilors, certainly Amati, Metallo and Mennea are not the only ones, in the majority, to have voted against the postponement (17 against the postponement).

The end of life law was rejected

The law on the end of life does not suffer slips but a real one rejection which arrives on article 1, causing the entire text to lapse. In this case, ethically sensitive matter, majority and opposition vote crosswise. For Amati it was a proposal that gave effect to a sentence of the Constitutional Court. The leader of the FdI group, Ignazio Zullo, new senator, talks about an issue that is not the competence of the Regions but of the State. In any case, he is pleased that the right to death has not been cleared through customs with regional law. Emiliano had proposed, in the majority meeting of the other evening, that a text be approved to be sent as a proposal to Parliament, to avoid regional do-it-yourself.
