After the stop on June 4th, a new air transport strike will take place on Tuesday June 20th. Workers’ protest scatter from 00:01 to finish at 23:59 throughout the national territory. Possible flight cancellations and inconveniences at the airports are already foreseen for this.
Who joins
They will participate in the national strike, as announced by the note of the last few hours, especially airport handling workers, i.e. those that deal with the set of services intended for ground assistance of aircraft and passengers transported (embarkation and disembarkation of passengers and goods, shelter of aircraft). which will be joined by workers in the aviation, airport and related airport sectors, as well as Vueling personnel.
Protected time slots
As usual, the arrival at destination of domestic flights in progress at the time of the start of the strike must be guaranteed. For any doubts, consult the website reference airline that will disclose all changes o any cancellations of flights, even on 20 June next, on the occasion of the strike. Enac also announces that during the strikes there are protection time slots, from 7 to 10 and from 18 to 21, in which flights must still be carried out.
