The third edition of the 5G Academy Postgraduate closes. Twenty-six young talents completed the high-level training course in the field of digital transformation and new technologies promoted byUniversity of Naples Federico II, of the partner companies Nokia and Tim, and this year in collaboration with Fastweb and Kineton. The closing ceremony will take place on October 19 in the Auditorium hall of the Archaeological Park of Pompeii with the presentation of four projects of great social and economic impact developed by the students of the Academy.


Partners and collaboration agreements

Several prestigious realities in the ICT world, and beyond, with which the Academy has entered into collaboration agreements and which, together with the industrial partners, have guided the students in the design phase, marrying their ideas and actively collaborating in the realization of each individual project. Among these, theInterporto Campano, PagoPA, the Archaeological Park of Pompeii, the RAI and Rai Research Center for Sustainability – ESG. Their interest in collaborating demonstrates the need to translate the enormous potential of new digital technologies into concrete actions and the driving force for innovation represented by the involvement of local actors.

To inaugurate the ceremony, at 9.30, will be the greetings of Matteo Loritorector of the University of Naples Federico II, Gabriel Zuchtriegeldirector of the Archaeological Park of Pompeii and the mayor of Pompeii Carmine Lo Sapio. In addition, Gaetano Manfredimayor of the Metropolitan City of Naples; Josephine of FoggiaCEO and vice president of Nokia Italia; Giovanni FiengoCEO of Kineton; Claudio Riccito the Interporto Campano; Andrea LaudadioTim Academy & Development Manager; Marco Pennarola, Fastweb’s head of Marketing Enterprise. Space for moments of reflection and comparison. The “round table”, moderated by Nicola Saldutti, Chief Economics Editor of Corriere della Sera, will see representatives of local institutions and some of the companies involved in the Academy, enrich the discussion with their contribution. With the opportunity, Antonia Maria Tulinoscientific director and didactic coordinator of the Academy, will present the main innovations of the next 2023 edition.
