Zaccheroni, the fall at home and hospitalization. The doctors: his conditions remain serious

The conditions of Alberto Zaccheroni are still serious but stable and remains hospitalized in the resuscitation department of the “Bufalini” hospital in Cesena. After hitting his head on the ground following a fall in his home on Friday evening, for the former Juventus, Inter and Milan coach (with whom he won the Scudetto in the 1998/1999 season) it became necessary immediate transport to the hospital in Cesena. Despite the severe head trauma, Zaccheroni is alert and conscious.

A still critical picture, but a non-deterioration of the conditions turns out to be, clinically speaking, good news. It remains to be understood whether Zac’s fall at home (his wife Fulvia and Clara, Luca’s fiancée, son of the technician), in his beloved Cesenatico, Zac’s fall was the result of an accidental event or rather the result of a previous illness.

Zaccheroni, in addition to sitting on the benches of the three big names in Italian football, was a great protagonist in the exponential growth of Udinese, led from 1995 to 1998 and brought to the UEFA Cup for the first time in history, and then to third place behind Juventus and Inter.
