World Ski Championships, ten protagonists to follow in Courchevel and Meribel

Skiing interrupts the World Cup and from Monday 6 February to Sunday 19 it stages the 47th edition of the World Championships: after Cortina 2021 we go to Savoy, to Courchevel for the men’s competitions and to Meribel for the women’s. The latter location, included among the venues for the alpine skiing trials of the 1992 Games, first saw the triumph of Deborah Compagnoni in super-G and then his injury in giant. Meribel is also the site of Michael Schumacher’s serious accident at the end of December 2013. But who are the athletes to follow in the world championship? There would be quite a few, but we have chosen 10 that for various reasons deserve special attention.
