Carlos Alcaraz is Wimbledon champion for the first time. The Spaniard, number one in the world, prevailed in five sets in the final over Serbian champion Novak Djokovic, number 2 Atp, after a battle that lasted almost 5 hours, with a score of 1-6, 7-6 (8-6) , 6-1, 3-6, 6-4 in 4 hours and 42 minutes. Alcaraz at the age of 20 wins his second Grand Slam, the first on London grass in an extraordinary final that kept the spectators glued to the Wimbledon Central.
