He’s an author, he’s comedian, he’s incorrect, he’s irreverent, he’s very popular, he doesn’t try to please everyone and he’s become a media sensation. A dialogue (with many perfidies)

“If I think back to me at eight years old, I feel the same as I did when I was eight years old. I’d be able to justify something I did then as if I did it yesterday, because I don’t feel like I’m any other person today. All the passions I have now, I had them then too. That’s why I’ve never smoked or drank or taken drugs in my life. Not because you judge certain things as a moralist, but precisely because these things, for an eight-year-old child, have no attraction”. When you meet Alexander Gori (which many, online, have come to know through The SgargabonziBefore blog, then Facebook page and who, even reluctantly, has become a pseudonym), immediately presents himself with this sort of effective proclamation, one would almost evoke certain Pascoli echoes if he were not an acute and attentive observer of all the sloppy and overused expressions of the language. But it’s still worth presenting it like this, because these words are an excellent preview of what will later be a long conversation around nostalgia, the province and childhood.
