The choice of new jobs and the mess of having lost Fuortes: what will happen to the historic Milanese theater only Beppe Sala knows. If things are going well in the administrative and economic budget, the artistic one is still to be verified

Now it is certain: Carlo Fuortes, once out of the bunker in viale Mazzini, he will not move to La Scala but to San Carlo (provided that the government manages to dislodge Stéphane Lissner from Naples, who is already sharpening stamped papers). It would then be interesting to understand what will happen to the Milanese theater. The tenure of the current superintendent and artistic director, Dominique Meyer, expires in 2025, that of the mayor and president of the Foundation, Beppe Sala, in ’26.
