Apparently America is a quitter nation. No, not of "quiet" quitter, but of real quitter, because it was born as a surreptitious return to a zero degree of involvement at work, to stem the demands, the phenomenon of quiet quitting has instead become noisy. But if the Atlantic wind has been blowing strongly on our peninsula for more than half a century, the fact concerns us a little.
