Several condominiums in the sixteen-story building called Wanda into question, turning to a well-known Milanese law firm. The reason? Nara allegedly had a structure illegally built before 2018 to close one of the terraces of the house. The neighbors, who then lost money, want to ask for damages.

The story

In August 2018 the Municipality of Milan detected two irregular building interventions in the property of Icardi and Wanda, one of which (the veranda) attributable to the former Inter captain and his wife. In October 2021, the condominium approves a redevelopment of the building, but to have access to the 110 percent superbonus, the go-ahead from the Revenue Agency must arrive. In the palace some irregular situations are remedied, but not Wanda’s veranda. So say the condominiums, at least.

Wanda’s attorney’s comment

The condominium in March 2022 does not receive the desired help, in June Wanda dismantles the veranda, but too late. Condominiums cannot access the 110 percent bonus, so condominiums want to claim damages in Nara. This is the comment of Wanda’s lawyer, Giuseppe Di Carlo: “When the condominium was activated to carry out the works with access to the 110 superbonus, the general contractor and the technicians found a series of irregularities, not just that apartment of my client. – his words a The Republic -. During the mediation phase, Ms. Nara was invited to eliminate the alleged irregularities. Despite the fact that there was no certainty about the non-conformity of the disputed works, the lady, in order to allow the condominium to carry out the project and obtain the facilities, immediately took steps to remedy the situation, including the removal of the famous veranda.
