Vingegaard puts the Tour in the safe, Pogacar collapses. In Courchevel company of Gall

COURCHEVEL – The Tour is indeed over, but Pogacar’s surrender in Courchevel was of colossal scale. The Slovenian, perhaps suffering from a crash in the early stages and certainly in clear physical and psychological decline after a two-week run-up to the yellow jersey, gave up halfway up the Col de la Loze climb. His suffering gradually becomes an ordeal: open shirt, eyes wide open, Pogacar struggles to follow the pace of his teammate Marc Soler, who waits for him and helps him right up to the finish line, while Vingegaard puts on a show in front, even without winning the stage.
