Tragedy for Arturo Vidal. The father of the former Juventus and Inter midfielder, Erasmo Vidal, was found dead in a riding club he used to frequent. The Chilean press broke the news. The body was found lifeless at the Club Hpico de Santiago by the staff of a security company.

The relationship between the two had been a bit troubled, with Arturo who never forgave his parent for having abandoned the family in his youth, forcing even the children to make enormous sacrifices. When they realized that the person was not in good health, they contacted the paramedics working within the complex, the spokesmen of the facility said. From what has been learned, and as the Chilean media always tell, the attempts at resuscitation have been found to be useless. So for Erasmo Vidal there was nothing to do. He would have died for a cardiorespiratory arrest due to hypovolemic shock (reduction in the volume of blood circulating in the body).

However, an investigation was opened to ascertain what happened. At the moment, no statements have been made by family members and in particular by the footballer, who may not play on October 15 against Atletico Mineiro. In the past, Father Erasmus had ended up in prison twice: the first for detention of weapons and cocaine, the second for sowing panic in a car. And several times, as in these circumstances, Vidal distanced himself from the behavior of his father. But this tragedy goes beyond everything. And for Vidal there remains an endless pain.
